What sets me apart isn't just market knowledge. It's nearly four decades of hands-on experience in construction, property investment, renovation, and property management, in both the UK and the USA, before I ever became a REALTOR®. That experience helps clients avoid costly mistakes and make better long-term property decisions.
FROM CONSTRUCTION TO REAL ESTATE
I grew up in England and ran a construction and plumbing business for 39 years. I started out doing repairs and remodels for landlords, and the more properties I worked on, the more I understood the investment side of real estate. Eventually I started buying properties myself, renovating them, and either flipping them or holding them as rentals.
Over the years I also owned three vacation properties, giving me firsthand experience of the realities that come with second-home ownership, rental management, maintenance, and long-distance property decisions. That led to owning and operating property management companies on both sides of the Atlantic.
By the time I became a REALTOR®, I wasn't just someone who knew how to sell homes. I was someone who had built them, fixed them, owned them, rented them, and managed them.
MY FLORIDA STORY
I first invested in Florida real estate in 2003. I'd visit, fall a little more in love with Central Florida each time, and eventually made the decision to move my life here. In 2007 I bought my home in Horizon West, long before the area became one of the region's fastest-growing communities, and I've watched many of these communities evolve into some of the most desirable areas in Central Florida.
HOW I WORK
That construction background still shapes the way I work today. I walk through a home and see what's behind the finishes — the build quality, the structural integrity, the long-term value. While many agents focus purely on appearance, I look deeper, at construction standards, layout functionality, renovation quality, future maintenance considerations, and resale potential. I'm not just going to tell you a house looks great. I'm going to tell you what it's actually worth and why.
I'm also deeply focused on new construction across Central Florida. I regularly help buyers compare builders, communities, lot premiums, HOA structures, CDD fees, rental potential, and long-term resale value, the details that can make or break a purchase decision, especially for relocation buyers and investors new to the Orlando market.

Outside of work, you'll find me exploring Central Florida's restaurants and outdoor spots with my French Bulldog, Junior, and keeping a close eye on the Orlando Magic, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Hull City back home in England.
